Senior Strength & Healthy Aging
This specialized program is offered to support older adults through the aging process. Strength training has been shown to greatly benefit older adults in maintaining muscle mass, improving mobility, preventing injury, and increasing the healthy years of life. Most specifically, this program helps combat osteoporosis. We utilize a variety of safe equipment including; dumbbells, light barbells, resistance bands, and body weight to get the desired results. You do not need to already be in shape to start this, we welcome all fitness levels. At KC Weightlifting we always remember that everyone starts somewhere! We will tailor specific workouts and programs to your unique fitness goals and abilities.
